Reflect
For my NLHE I am not all that disappointed.  My 0.10 level is break even, and although the 0.25 level is a buy-in down, is amounts to 1 or 2 key hands which I lost...   PLO was pretty good overall, but it's a bit swingy.  I was a lot more up at one point, then had a couple of bad hands to drop a couple of buy-ins along the way.   Omaha Hi-Low is a brutal game :)  I quite enjoy it and want to play more seriously, but perhaps I should stick to PLO for the moment!      I'm still going to try and move up to 0.25 level half and half this month (when I get time!!)

The MTT/STT sample is not big enough to make any meaningful comment.   I guess my result is pretty much average for the STT (One each for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place)

May 2014 Targets:
Will be as reduced due to Bognor trips and SCOOP activities:
- Play 800 cash hands on NLHE $0.10 Full Ring (2 table) with target of breaking even
- Play 400 cash hands on PLO  $0.10 6-max (2 table) with target of breaking even
- Play 1 sessions of 8 Game cash with target of breaking even
- Play 4 MTT with target of breaking even

Strategic Objectives for 2015
*  Work more on my game to be able to break even on NLHE and PLO cash games
*  Don't play Mobile ZOOM
*  Try to play MTT more regularly
*  Commit only to the SCOOP and MicroMillions online festivals
*  Only try EPTs when have got previous months profits

Poker: SCOOP 2015–it’s nearly upon me !

Wow doesn’t time fly…  no sooner has MicroMillions finished, than it’s time for SCOOP !

Last year’s SCOOP experience was fun, but no cigars were distributed    I targeted 6 tournaments last year, but only ended up playing 4.    I’m therefore wondering if targeting 8 tournaments this year is being a bit optimistic

• May 13th (Event #12)  NL Hold'em
• May 15th (Event #18)  NL Hold'em 6-Max shootout
• May 19th (Event #30)  NL Hold'em

• May 21st (Event #36)  NL Hold'em
• May 22nd (event #39)  HORSE

As always, I will try to satellite into the main events in each case, but then likely just pay to enter anyway.   The total entry fee for all 8 events direct buy-in would be $109.50, so need to make sure I don’t get carried away with the satellites and spend too much!

Fingers crossed I get some kind of result this year

Reflect
March was a funny old month.  I actually had less sessions than normal, due to being on a week long course for work and having to study for the associated exam.   Meanwhile, I decided to 4 table NLHE and try to gradually move up to $0.25 level for both NLHE and PLO   As it turned out, I managed to surpass my NLHE hands target and make decent profit.  My PLO was a little low on hands, and managed to loose 9 buy-ins!  Was due to one really bad session more or less, so hope that will not happen again.   Maybe moving up will make it more real for me and make me concentrate more (and stop playing when I'm just clicking buttons)

Micromillions and also the MTT results were actually not too bad.  For Micromillions I mostly used FPP to get into a couple of the main events, although sadly didn't manage to get anywhere near the money.  My cashes in the MTT are better than would be expected, so ahead of the curve there.   The STT results are a bit disappointing though, but they are fast and turbo, so should expect a fair amount of variance I guess.  Just a shame as I seemed to be doing better than average previously, so hope it's not a long downswing.   I do enjoy the format, so will persevere with them for the moment.
