Well, my SCOOP campaign went pretty much to my original plan, in that I played 4 out of the five I was hoping to play. I didn’t manage to Satellite into the Medium level events, but was contented to play the Low level events

Was it worth it ?
From a purely financial point of view, I earned about $6 (£3.79) an hour which is not all that great from a professional point of view… luckily I am a recreational player, so am pretty contented just to make any kind of profit across these events
Of course for me there is the excitement and anticipation before the games, I actually enjoy the planning and looking forward to the games element of such a Poker festival… and there is always that allure of a potentially big score… plus the inevitable feeling afterwards that I could have done even better than I did.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable SCOOP this year and was well worth the effort. Will definitely be playing these events again…. and of course it’s not that long until WCOOP
