Went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night at the local Vue cinema
I thought it was a good Harry Potter film, engrossing and following the book (so far as I remember) but Lynn thought it a bit disappointing. In some ways I do agree, but only in so far as the book on which it is based is slightly weak. Also the film did not have the climatic ending of the book, so maybe that contributed as well
There were good “scary” moments and some good comedy moments in the film, so I think a bit of something for everyone. Harry Potter fans will certainly want to see the film, those not familiar with Harry Potter will probably not have a clue what is going on though :-)

Saw it just a few hours ago. Was not at all disappointed. It did follow the book to a good deal and whereas I heard some folks saying it was not as action packed as the others I didn't mind - it focused on character and plot development and to be sure - there'll be plenty of action in the final movie for all! Again the actors did not disappoint and it just reiterated how well cast everyone was!
